i started this on sunday, but then my grandpuppy came to visit so i had to stop. i was half done and finish this afternoon. happy quilting.

scraps

I'm sill working from scraps, i have 13 tops from scrap so far with 4 more in the works .it is so hot , the air is going to chilly i don't care if i freeze.

OK this week is almost over so i should have some things done. not so much. i had no concentration this week. i think john is home to much. Marc is getting ready to move and Brian is ticked at me. i wanted to only use fabric from my stash to make Jimmy's quilts ,i have been doing good . last week at quilt makers cottage i saw a pincushion pattern ,well that led to buying a layer cake. then i thought it was to nice for that and wanted to make a quilt instead, because after all i spent $35.00 on in it and pin cushion pattern only makes 5 . i did use white fabric and strip from the stash (yeah me). but then i needed more .back to QMC, $63.00 later i have more fabric and thread. but top is finished. I'm glad I'm not going to buy fabric this year. (bad me). i will try harder .

new curtins

Last weekend at the retreat Carpi brought along drapery fabric for who ever wanted it. that would be me. it had cut into 4 panels already (lucky me it work) i added liner and luv luv the look thank you Carpi. its been busy today, i went to a wedding this morning, finished and hung curtins , change bedding to match. it is amazing what i already had now S1 is over for lunch then i must do some sewing .

baby quilt

just for the newest nephew. I'm not to sure of this one(what was i thinking) . I'm am loving this weather. we have real plans for the weekend. sat i am going to a wedding. then maybe hobby lobby. my oldest son has a job now and will leave for Arizona soon. long wait since DEC. happy for but sad for me. have a great weekend.
