i am going to try to finish 12 UFOs in 2011. i will still start more but i will tackle some older one's.1. Asian quilt. 2. decoy. 3. blue star's.4. recipe blocks yeah Betty Neff. 5.lady's. 6. yo-yo's for x-mas garland.

10.Liberty Lynn's quilt. 11. more pincushion's and 12.women's voice's .

so this is not to exciting but real fast and fun to do i did 5. add that to team jimmy that would be 65. hope every one had a great Christmas. i did.

i need to thank Mr. Martin at burkholders for the wonderful donation of 125 yards of fabric to be use in team jimmy. this will back lots of quilts, now i really have to start quilting. this is a quilters x-mas morning.

i saw this pattern on a blog, and fell in love with it . it goes together fast so i will be doing more of it. winter seems to be here. now for some snow. i have to go back to my quilt cabin and sew now.

the 1st week of dec.

this little beauty happened after the one below. i love this.

i like this but enough to use as a gift. this was leftover blocks 3 quilts back, you know how you have maybe7 or 8 blocks left so you add more to use them up then you have more. now i have 2 left and they are going on the back.

also i can't forget team jimmy so two more got added.

the only problem is i want to make cookies this week instead of sewing.

i wanted to make a block to send to the selvage blogs friend. of course girls just want to have have and pumpkin pie.

while in intercourse we stopped at Gina's shop.

it's been a year since i retired from burkholder's and i have loved every minute of it. Gina was a good boss .she gave me lots of freedom to do thing's in the shop that wanted to try. big thanks to Gina and Nancy. i miss you girls lots. i feel that the only thing that i did this week is run around ,Tues. and weds i worked on a top sewing and riping over and over. I'm hopeing for a better week coming up.what has every one been working on?

OK that's some sewing this summer.

i had a great time using patterns I've seen in books and mag. there are quilts done from Kathy Holland, Bonnie hunter,jelly roll books Betsy Ross. As i was doing them i really didn't look at them more so the # i had done so seeing them lay out was so neat. I'm half way there . I know i can get them done. I guess i better start thinking what to work on next.

to much quiting.

Wow what a great group of mag . i love love love scrappy quilts. it's nice that so many mag. are thinkingtowards using your own stash as well as new fabric's. i have already started a quilt from them. This week is the seltzer sisters retreat. it was along wait in between. so i have been trying to play catch up on team jimmy. as of now i have 34 quilted quilts done, and5 tops ready 15 cut and ready to sew. i hope to have 5 more tops done by Monday. I'm looking forward to seeing all the girls..I'm sure there will be some shenanigans going on . patty owes dawn and myself some. so I'm sooooooooooooo excited for Thursday to arrive. there's going to be so much going on. we are having a turkey dinner Fri. one of the girls is having a x-mas open house sat. i young lady is coming in sat afternoon to do our nails. i heard we are having a p.j party and staying up late to gap about quilt blogs and boys.
